My dear cousin... I've tried to write this note several times, but struggle to articulate the words I want to say as there are so many emotions to push through. I never thought our brunch would be the last day I would see you in the physical. But I cherish that moment. Because in it, I had so much happiness and hope. Your strength and fighter spirit has a contagious affect. All who know you, like myself, likely felt, "Lauren's got this... she's a fighter." There's comfort in that.
